Men’s wedding clothes can range from the typical elegant suit to a relaxed summery beach shirt with more than plenty of options in between.

According to the type of wedding ceremony and venue you will be attending, we have some general recommendations to help you look your best!

Formal

Men’s wedding clothing most generally revolves around a suit, formal shirt and tie — the typical business elegant look. Choose lighter colors like tan, light cream or grey if the wedding ceremony takes place in a sunny outdoor location. It will help you look less like you just came out of a business meeting and add more elegance to your look. If you are not comfortable with wearing lighter colors for your wedding suit, than you can be creative and choose lighter color ties – go for a light blue, light pink or even a funny tie to help you look more relaxed.

Informal

If you are attending an informal getaway wedding, then here is when wedding clothes for men do not mean you have to wear a suit. Go for some light color khaki pants and a formal shirt (wearing a tie in this case is totally optional). Create a polished look by wearing a pair of nice business shoes to add some elegance to your look.

Beach

Beach wedding clothing for men must include clothes you feel comfortable in – a nice jacket with cotton shirt (with or without a flowery pattern) and some summery pants (long or short) — and of course beach flip flops.
